Electrical Project Manager (Freelance) | M&E Building Services | South Coast | £380–£420 per day\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a respected M&E Building Services contractor delivering fast-paced commercial office fit-out projects across the South Coast.\n\nThe company specialises in design and build office fit-out projects, typically ranging from £500k to £2m, working with well-known end clients and delivering high-quality installations within tight programmes.\n\nDue to a live project requirement, they are now looking to appoint a freelance Electrical Project Manager on a 5-month contract, with an immediate start available.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will take responsibility for the delivery of a live commercial office fit-out project, overseeing all electrical elements from site through to completion.\n\nDuties will include:\n\n * Managing the electrical package on a fast-track office fit-out project\n\n * Coordinating subcontractors and site teams\n\n * Driving programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved\n\n * Overseeing quality, compliance, and health & safety\n\n * Attending and leading site meetings with internal and external stakeholders\n\n * Managing procurement, variations, and technical submissions\n\n * Reporting into senior management on project progress and performance\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within M&E Building Services\n\n * Strong background delivering commercial or office fit-out projects\n\n * Experience managing projects typically in the £500k–£2m range\n\n * Experience working within design and build environments\n\n * Strong organisational and communication skills\n\n * A stable work history demonstrating reliability and consistent project delivery\n\n * Candidates must be able to demonstrate a consistent track record of delivering projects through to completion\n\nThis role would suit candidates currently working as: Electrical Project Manager, M&E Project Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager, Senior Electrical Site Manager.\n\nContract Details\n\n * 5-month contract\n\n * Immediate start available\n\n * Day rate: £380–£420 per day\n\n * Potential for further work beyond the initial contract, subject to performance and project pipeline\n\nNext Steps\n\nThis is an urgent requirement for a live project, so if you are available or becoming available shortly and feel this role could be a good fit, please apply today.\n\nAbout David Leslie Ltd\n\nDavid Leslie Ltd is a family-run construction recruitment consultancy with over 20 years’ experience connecting professionals and employers across the UK.
