Requirements:
- Experience and understanding of leadership a must.
- Ability to pass drug screenings
- Minimum 2 year degree in Construction Management or similar discipline.
- Valid driver's license
- NC State Electrical License holder a plus
- Ability to pass drug screening(s)
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;
Project Planning and Management
- Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Technical Oversight
- Blueprint Interpretation: Review electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications to guide project execution.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and electrical codes and standards, such as NFPA 70E and NEC.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections to verify work quality and adherence to safety standards.
Team Leadership
- Team Leader: Lead and manage project teams, including electricians, subcontractors, and other technical staff.
- Training and Development: Provide guidance, leadership and support to team members, fostering skill development and growth.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve issues among team members to maintain a collaborative work environment.
Communication and Reporting
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and vendors, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project progress, including reports, contracts, and change orders.
- Status Meetings: Conduct regular project meetings to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
Resource Management
- Material Procurement: Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and tools necessary for the project.
- Vendor Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and manage vendor relationships always working to find a win/win.
- Labor Allocation: Assign tasks and adjust workforce needs to meet project demands for a win/win with our customers.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules, allocating resources effectively to meet deadlines.
- Budget Oversight: Prepare and maintain project budgets, monitoring costs to ensure financial objectives are met.
Continuous Improvement
- Process Optimization: Analyze project workflows to identify areas for efficiency improvements.
- Feedback Integration: Gather feedback post-project to refine future processes and enhance team performance.
Qualifications:
- Team mindset
- Documented leadership skills
- Efficiency with Microsoft Suite programs, and other computer based programs
- Ability to accurately read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Working knowledge of current NEC a plus
- Working knowledge of current NFPA 70e a plus
- Understanding of project financials and projections.
- Proven project management skills. Please include 3 professional references.
