Job Title: Senior Electrical Project Engineer
Location: Yuma, Arizona (Hospital Project)
Pay: $100,000 – $125,000 (based on experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our team for a large-scale hospital renovation and construction project in Yuma, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, coordination, and project execution within healthcare facilities. This role requires a proactive professional capable of managing multiple project phases, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with all codes and hospital standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the electrical engineering design and coordination for hospital infrastructure projects.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure alignment with project goals and client standards.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and low-voltage systems.
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and facility managers to resolve design and field issues.
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and healthcare-specific regulations.
• Support project budgeting, scheduling, and procurement of electrical materials and equipment.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify quality and safety standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement of project engineering processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in healthcare or hospital projects.
• PE license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and healthcare codes.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Additional Details:

• Candidates must live near Yuma, AZ or be willing to relocate for the duration of the project.
