Project Engineer / Electrical

An established, well-respected, and growing Electrical Contractor has an immediate opportunity for a qualified Electrical Project Engineer to service our client base. Our company is a recognized leader in the industry with a reputation built on quality, reliability, and trust

Essential Functions:

• Manage project Scope under the guidance of the Project Manager.
• Coordinate project activities to maintain project schedules.
• Assist in change order estimates and provide estimating and budget support.
• Attend in-person and virtual client and field meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Provide administrative and logistical support including meeting arrangement, progress tracking and documentation.
• Contribute to the enhancement of project management processes, tools, and methodologies, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and propose actionable improvements.
• Apply familiarity with project cost forecasting and projections.

 Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline is required.
• Minimum Five (5) years’ experience in an electrical contracting environment supervising major electrical contracts within for commercial or residential projects.
• Expert knowledge of Electrical Codes as well as local codes and ordinances is required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills in English are required; bilingual is an asset.
• Verifiable ability to write reports, business correspondence and be able to read plans.
• Self-Motivated with the desire to function independently.
• A passion for quality, timely work within budgeted guidelines
