What We Are Looking For:
A Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our growing renewables team and lead the design and execution of utility-scale solar projects. This role offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership, collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients, and drive high-quality electrical solutions that support the continued growth of our renewable energy portfolio.
What You Will Be Doing:

- Lead the design and engineering of utility-scale solar PV, energy storage (BESS), and microgrid projects ranging from 5 MW to 100+ MW, including standalone and hybrid systems.
- Provide technical expertise and support in assisting clients in planning for integrating renewable energy resources.
- Develop and review engineering construction documents, including drawings, one-lines, and equipment specifications.
- Perform and oversee electrical system studies such as load flow, short circuit, arc flash, grounding, ampacity, and protection coordination.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on integrating renewable energy resources into the power grid.
- Coordinating project design assignments and design teams locally and with other office locations.
- Oversee equipment selection and evaluation for renewable energy systems.
- Manage electrical scope for projects of varying size, including scheduling, resourcing, and delivery.
- Communicate project status and technical information to internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
- Occasional travel to project sites (approximately 10%) to gather site-specific data as needed.
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines.
- 4-6 years experience in the renewable energy industry.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license of Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or the ability to obtain a PE license within a reasonable timeframe.
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, SKM, ETAP, SEL Relays.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and resources effectively.
- Ability to work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving renewable energy technologies and design practices.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $100,979 - $110, 681 annually.
This salary range reflects the anticipated base pay for candidates with approximately four to six years of relevant experience. Candidates with additional experience will be considered for higher compensation. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, education, and technical expertise.
