Electrical Project Engineer in London

Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer

Working Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days office / 3 days home)

Contract Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review Ex equipment datasheets

- Develop load lists, cable sizing, and voltage drop calculations

- Produce and review electrical specifications and switchboard packages

- Review vendor documentation against project requirements

- Liaise with suppliers and vendors

- Support site and project interfaces

Requirements:

- Experience in oil & gas or petrochemical environments

- Strong understanding of IEC 60079 (hazardous areas)

- Experience with electrical design and calculations

- Knowledge of industrial communication networks

- Comfortable working across design and project delivery phases

- Strong Excel and document preparation skills
