Turner Lovell are supporting them to recruit several Electrical Project Engineer to join the team. You will leverage your electrical engineering expertise to plan, execute, and manage high voltage electrical projects across data centres, renewables, and transmission and distribution sectors.

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring successful and timely completion of projects within scope, budget, and safety standards. You'll have the opportunity to apply your electrical engineering knowledge to deliver reliable and efficient solutions that exceed client expectations and uphold their reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the design, engineering, and project management teams to meet project objectives, scope, and electrical requirements
  • Manage the transition of electrical designs from design through construction, incorporating lessons learned
  • Interface with subcontractors to understand scope and manage efficiency
  • Participate in weekly design meetings and construction meetings
  • Manage material approvals and construction quality
  • Take over technical submittals from lead engineer during construction
  • Attend and coordinate factory acceptance tests
  • Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, address issues, ensure safety
  • Review installations against specifications and issue design packs
  • Coordinate procurement of electrical materials, equipment and services
  • Evaluate supplier proposals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 1+ years experience working as a project engineer, delivering HV electrical engineering projects
  • Expertise in high voltage electrical systems
  • Proficiency in electrical design software
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail, excellent communication and a desire to collaborate
  • Project Management certifications is a major advantage
