Engineer – Building Services (MEP)\n\nLocation: Gatwick Airport\nEmployer: Mech Electrics Limited\nDuration: Long-term, ongoing works beyond 2030\n\nMEP Engineer (Electirical bias - Site Based)\n\nMech Electrics Limited are recruiting an MEP Engineer to support delivery teams on a major programme of works at Gatwick Airport. This is a site-based role offering long-term stability and progression within a strong project team.\n\nThe Engineer will work closely with Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure technical delivery, coordination and safety standards are met.\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\n * \n\n Supporting day-to-day site delivery of MEP works\n\n * \n\n Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress\n\n * \n\n Assisting with quality inspections and snagging\n\n * \n\n Ensuring health & safety compliance on site\n\n * \n\n Supporting programme and technical problem-solving\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Background in building services engineering (mechanical or electrical bias)\n\n * \n\n Experience on healthcare, MOJ, airports, TfL, Crossrail or large estate projects\n\n * \n\n SMSTS () or SSSTS\n\n * \n\n Strong awareness of H&S procedures\n\n * \n\n Proactive and organised approach
