Electrical Project Engineer - Water AMP8\n\nLocation: Brighton (South East England – multi-site travel required)\n\nOur client, a leading Tier 1 Contractor, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join their Environment division. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects across the South East, primarily within the water sector, including sewage and clean water schemes.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead electrical engineering activities from concept through to completion\nDeliver Non-Infrastructure (Non-Infra) M&E projects within the water sector\nManage the design process and liaise with clients, designers, and internal teams\nConduct early-stage site investigations and coordinate with key stakeholders\nPrepare and review health & safety documentation including RAMS and project plans\nProcure materials and manage supplier and subcontractor relationships\nAttend and oversee factory acceptance testing (FAT), site testing, commissioning, and client training\nParticipate in design reviews and hazard studies to optimise project outcomes\nMonitor project budgets, assist with cost reviews, and manage variations\nEnsure quality and compliance through Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)\nDevelop and maintain project programmes and documentation, including as-built drawings and O&M manuals\nChampion a strong health & safety culture across all activities\nDrive continuous improvement and innovation while maintaining compliance with industry standards\n\nKey Skills & Experience:\n\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office\nCommercial and contractual awareness\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\nHighly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused\nResilient, flexible, and able to influence at all levels\nA collaborative team player with a “can-do” attitude\nDesirable:\n\nExperience within the water industry or Non-Infra projects\nKnowledge of NEC contracts, CDM regulations, ATEX, and DSEAR\nEssential Qualifications\n\nElectrical ONC / HNC / BEng (or equivalent NVQ qualification)\nBS7671 (18th Edition)\nFull UK Driving Licence\n\nDesirable Qualifications\n\n(Support can be provided to achieve these if not already held)\n\nCSCS / ECS Card\nEUSR Water Hygiene Card\nSMSTS\nFirst Aid at Work\nCity & Guilds Authorised Person\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading Tier 1 Contractor on impactful infrastructure projects that support communities and environmental sustainability
