Due to growth, we are looking for a full-time Electrical Project Engineer to join our team in Alliance, Ohio.
You will develop and test software for automation systems in heavy industrial environments while ensuring that innovation comes standard with every order.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to customers regarding electrical products and systems.
- Provide technical assistance to customers regarding electrical products and systems including but not limited to Motors, VFD’s, PLC Systems, HVAC, Control Panel Design, Low voltage distribution systems and controls.
- Adapt existing electrical products to meet specific customer applications.
- Collaborate with Automation and other teams to develop custom solutions.
- Define and implement solutions for project system requirements and develop system specifications for industrial drive and automation systems
- Assist in development and test control software for PC, Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC based systems for overhead cranes, metal rolling, strip processing and rod/bar mill applications
- Recommend changes to unit and integration test plan elements as necessary
- Manage project cost budget
- Must be willing to travel as needed
- Perform network connectivity troubleshooting
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a relevant technical field—Or equivalent experience
- 3 years’ experience in designing, commissioning, and maintaining industrial drive and automation systems for heavy industry applications
- 1 year of experience with programmable logic controllers
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in AutoCAD a plus
- Proficient with MS Office (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
