Overview:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer in Walnut Creek, CA. This role involves working on various projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants. Responsibilities:
Execute detailed electrical power systems designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities under the guidance of a Senior Level Electrical Engineer.
Perform load calculations, conduit routing, design motor control centers and switchgears, and develop specifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
6 to 12 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
Proficiency in power system applications, including short circuit current calculations, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor.
Experience in field investigations and startup procedures.
Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC standards.
Familiarity with IEEE publications.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
Motivated, articulate, and self-starting.
Ability to engage positively with clients.
Additional Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (optional but ).
