ELECTRICAL PLANNING ENGINEER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (Primavera P6/MS Project) for electrical activities.
• Coordinate with project management engineering procurement and site teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Review and analyze project specifications drawings and contract documents for schedule development.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on status delays and forecasting.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks related to electrical works.
• Track resource allocation productivity and cost against the project plan.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports lookahead schedules and recovery plans when necessary.
• Ensure proper integration of electrical planning with other disciplines (civil mechanical etc.
• Assist in claims preparation and extension of time (EOT) justifications when required.
  

KEY QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the GCC specifically within contracting companies.

• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling tools (Primavera P6 is a must).

• Strong understanding of electrical systems in construction projects.

• Excellent analytical communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.

• Must be currently residing in the UAE and available to join immediately.
