Electrical Non-Working Supervisor - Water Sector
Devon / Somerset
Up to £350 per day (LTD)
6 Months+ Contract

Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Non-Working Supervisor to support ongoing projects within the water and wastewater sector across Devon and Somerset. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering up to £350 per day (LTD), with a company van and fuel card provided.
This role is primarily supervisory (non-working) but will include hands-on support where required. You will play a key role in mentoring and training electricians, supporting design development, and overseeing installation works to ensure safe and compliant delivery.
Key Responsibilities
·Supervise electrical installation works on water and wastewater sites
·Provide technical guidance and on-site leadership to electricians and apprentices
·Deliver on-the-job training and mentoring to electrical teams
·Assist with electrical design reviews and provide practical installation input
·Support project managers in planning and coordinating site activities
·Ensure all works are carried out in line with industry regulations and site standards
·Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance
·Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and quality checks
·Step in to undertake installation work where required
Requirements
·Proven experience supervising electrical works within the water sector (water/wastewater treatment works experience highly desirable)
·Strong knowledge of industrial electrical installations
·Experience mentoring or training electricians
·Ability to interpret and contribute to electrical design drawings
·ECS/CSCS card
·18th Edition (BS7671)
·SSSTS or SMSTS
·Full UK driving licence
