Manufacturing Electrical Assembler - Wilsonville, Oregon
Successful growing manufacturing facility has an immediate opening for an experienced Electrical Mechanical Assembler who will be responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assembly of food processing equipment according to blueprints and written/verbal specifications.
General Duties:
- Operate production line equipment with a level of complexity requiring specified training and assemble products, units, machines, equipment, and/or subassemblies.
- Mount and connect auxiliary, mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, cut and fit pipe and tubing.
- Remove small quantities of metal using hand files, emery cloth, or portable grinders to clean parts and/or produce close fit between parts.
- Align components with bolts and screws using hand tools or portable powered tools.
- Drill, tap, or ream holes using a drill press or portable drill.
- Install moving parts such as shafts, levers, or bearings working them to a test free movement.
- Thread, bend and install pipe for electrical conduit.
- Align and mesh gears in gearbox to assemble system of gears.
- May test or assist in testing operation of completed product.
- May operate machines, such as arbor, brake, or punch presses, shears, cut off saws, form roller, and drill press, to cut and shape components to specified dimensions during assembly process.
- Troubleshoot fit, form, and function issues and relay feedback to lead and engineering department.
Qualification and Experience:
- Candidates must have RECENT experience doing Electrical Mechanical Assembly, Fabrication Assembly or Small Engine Mechanic with the skills above.
- Must be able to problem solve & make decisions in line with organizational philosophies and practices, execute and meet deadlines, ensuring attention to detail, work both autonomously and as part of a team and deliver information using different methods to ensure messages have been received and understood.
- Must be able to interpret complex issues into simple for all employees to understand,
- Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel including spreadsheets
- English proficiency, written and verbal required.
· Must be highly motivated, driven detailed and quality driven individual to succeed in this position.
· Must have a valid work visa to apply for this position, and have reliable transportation to commute daily to Wilsonville, OR 97070.
