Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to build, wire, and inspect custom electrical panel assemblies and enclosures in a workbench-based assembly environment. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys working from drawings, contributing high-quality work, and collaborating with others to move assemblies through production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical panels and enclosures, including installation of electrical and mechanical components
- Perform point-to-point wiring, soldering, and cable routing per drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, bills of materials, and work instructions
- Complete mechanical assembly of components such as rails, circuit boards, cooling devices, cameras, and related hardware
- Perform inspection, functional checks, or troubleshooting as required for your stage of the build process
- Accurately document serial numbers, test results, and production activity using basic computer systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience assembling and testing electro-mechanical or electrical hardware
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and stay focused in a bench-style environment
- Basic computer skills (email, production systems, data entry)
Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with panel building or custom electrical assemblies
- Soldering experience
- Familiarity with inspection, testing, or troubleshooting processes
