JOB FUNCTION: As a SI Operator/Assembler you will responsible for assembly of mechanical pieces and being an integral part of our Production line. You will be responsible for functions that include using hand and power tools, follow detailed assembly instructions, and contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Other duties my include assisting team members in ad-hoc projects such as assembling tables, transferring heavy material to different locations, and providing support for other manufacturing departments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment
: English proficiency is required, Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
SKILLS:
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Read and understand work orders and manufacturing work instructions
- Accuracy for documentation
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees
- Common sense to solve practical problems
- Knowledge of ISO-9001, ESD, SPC, and IPC-A-610
- Attention to detail
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble units
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
- Inspection cosmetic chassis defect before installing PCBA
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
