Electrical/Mechanical Assembler

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary:
Seeking a hands-on assembler to support production and engineering teams at a growing manufacturer specializing in electric vehicle conversions and industrial equipment for hazardous environments. This role involves disassembly, wiring, assembly, and improvement of electro-mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and wire motors, control systems, and modified vehicles
  
  
• Disassemble and reassemble forklifts and components
  
  
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
  
  
• Operate basic tools and light machinery (e.g., drills, presses, crimpers)
  
  
• Build wiring harnesses and perform occasional PCB assembly
  
  
• Provide feedback on design and process improvements
  
  
• Follow production schedules and document work in digital systems (SAP, Excel)
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  
• 13 years of electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly experience
  
  
• Familiarity with electrical wiring, low-voltage systems, and safety standards
  
  
• Ability to work from technical drawings and -coded schematics
  
  
• Comfortable lifting and handling parts as needed
  
  
• Basic computer skills; English proficiency required (Italian a plus)
  
  
• Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and team-oriented attitude

• Must follow safety protocols and clean work practices (5S)
  
  
• Willing to work overtime as needed
  
  
• ISO environment experience
