Electrical/Mechanical Assembler
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary:
Seeking a hands-on assembler to support production and engineering teams at a growing manufacturer specializing in electric vehicle conversions and industrial equipment for hazardous environments. This role involves disassembly, wiring, assembly, and improvement of electro-mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire motors, control systems, and modified vehicles
- Disassemble and reassemble forklifts and components
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
- Operate basic tools and light machinery (e.g., drills, presses, crimpers)
- Build wiring harnesses and perform occasional PCB assembly
- Provide feedback on design and process improvements
- Follow production schedules and document work in digital systems (SAP, Excel)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 13 years of electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly experience
- Familiarity with electrical wiring, low-voltage systems, and safety standards
- Ability to work from technical drawings and -coded schematics
- Comfortable lifting and handling parts as needed
- Basic computer skills; English proficiency required (Italian a plus)
- Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and team-oriented attitude
Other:
- Must follow safety protocols and clean work practices (5S)
- Willing to work overtime as needed
