Electrical Manufacturing Engineer

Salary Range: Based on experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role bridges engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions, focusing on the development, optimization, and support of electrical and electromechanical systems in production and in the field.

Essential Functions:

● Develop and optimize electromechanical assembly processes for enhanced efficiency, consistency, and reliability.

● Support real-time troubleshooting of electrical issues on the production line.

● Experience with engineering change management processes.

● Create and update work instructions, wiring schematics, and assembly documentation.

● Collaborate with design, mechanical, and software teams to ensure manufacturability and testability of new designs.

● Train production staff on new procedures and tooling.

● Coordinate with supply chain and vendors to resolve component or assembly challenges.

● Overnight travel occasionally to perform technical service or commissioning of fielded systems.

● Design and validate test fixtures and procedures for electrical subassemblies.

Education and Experience:

● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant experience.

● Proficiency in embedded systems and motor control (servo, stepper, BLDC).

● Skilled in the use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools.

● 10+ years of hands-on experience with wire harnessing and electromechanical system integration.

● Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.

● Attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset.

● Knowledge of engineering change management/systems
