About the Role\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to join our growing data centre team. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all electrical systems, maintenance activities, compliance, and critical infrastructure performance across a high-availability environment.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in mission-critical facilities, exceptional technical knowledge, and the ability to lead engineering teams in a fast-paced, 24/7 operation.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Lead and manage the electrical engineering team within the data centre.\n\n * \n\n Oversee the operation, maintenance and optimisation of critical electrical systems (HV/LV switchgear, UPS, generators, power distribution, lighting).\n\n * \n\n Ensure all electrical works comply with statutory regulations and industry standards.\n\n * \n\n Develop and implement planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules to maximise uptime.\n\n * \n\n Manage incident response for electrical faults, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.\n\n * \n\n Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other internal stakeholders.\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate documentation including permits to work, compliance records, and asset registers.\n\n * \n\n Support capacity planning, equipment upgrades, and expansion projects.\n\n * \n\n Promote safety, quality, and operational excellence across the facility.\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as an Electrical Manager, Engineering Manager, or Senior Electrical Engineer in a data centre or mission-critical environment.\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and electrical distribution.\n\n * \n\n Recognised electrical engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent).\n\n * \n\n 18th Edition / IOSH / HV Authorisation (desirable).\n\n * \n\n Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.\n\n * \n\n Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions quickly.\n\nTo Apply\n\nPlease send over up to date CV for the Electrical Manager position
