An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Whitehall, London has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based in a commercial building in Whitehall, London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this site working.\n

\n The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £44,500, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.\n

  • Monday to Friday - 08:00 am - 17:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities\n
\n
\n

    \n
  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
  • \n

  • Emergency lighting tests
  • \n

  • Control Panels
  • \n

  • Changing Ballast
  • \n

  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
  • \n

  • Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
  • \n

  • Maintain and update Log books
  • \n

  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
  • \n

  • Pumps, motors
  • \n

  • Compliance and logbooks
  • \n

  • Chillers and pressurisation units
  • \n

  • Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
  • \n

  • Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
  • \n

  • Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
  • \n

  • Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
  • \n

  • Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
  • \n

  • Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
  • \n

  • Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
  • \n

  • Escort specialist subcontractors
  • \n

  • Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3
  • \n

  • City & Guilds - 18th Edition
  • \n

  • Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
  • \n

  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • \n

  • Multi-skilled
  • \n

  • Good communication skills
  • \n

  • Client Facing
