Job Title - Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Duration - Temp to Perm
Working Model - On four shift pattern (on-site Towcester)
Hourly Rate: £20p/hour - £25p/hour (temporary), with potential to move to a permanent salary of £45,000 per year
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Overview
This role involves electrical maintenance within a semiconductor manufacturing clean-room facility, supporting site infrastructure and facilities rather than IT systems. You will help maintain and repair equipment used in the production environment, including chemical and extraction systems, ensuring the site operates safely and reliably. The role operates on a four-shift pattern to provide continuous site support.
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role will involve:
Working with and maintaining site systems, including the sewer plant, facilities infrastructure, air handling units, chillers, refrigeration equipment, PLCs, inverters, and chemical/acid extraction systems
Finding and fixing faults on machines and control systems
Responding quickly to breakdowns to keep production running
Supporting equipment installation and upgrades
Following health & safety rules at all times
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on engineering experience required
Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working on a four-shift rotating pattern (days and nights)
Committed to health & safety and quality standards
