Maintenance Engineer (Permanent)

Swindon £45,000 – £55,000 Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (On-site)

A growing, highly regulated manufacturing business is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer who enjoys a hands-on role with real autonomy and involvement in continuous improvement.

The Role

• Manage and improve PPM schedules and maintenance strategy
• Fault find, repair, and minimise downtime across site equipment
• Support PLC installation, commissioning, and upgrades
• Work with industrial robotics and automated systems
• Analyse performance using MTBF & MTTR
• Contribute to projects, site upgrades, and continuous improvement

Essential

• 18th Edition & IOSH
• Strong PPM and maintenance planning experience
• PLC installation/commissioning
• Industrial robotics experience
• Background in a regulated environment
