Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Surrey

Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Surrey
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
 
A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their mobile engineering team, covering a localised portfolio of commercial sites across the Surrey and Merton areas. What you'll do:

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings.
Fault-find and repair electrical systems including lighting, power, emergency lighting, distribution boards, and associated building services.
Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests, diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
Carry out routine inspections, testing, and minor electrical works to ensure systems remain safe and fully operational.
Support general building services maintenance and assist with remedial works where required.
Travel between localised sites across Surrey and Merton, ensuring maintenance requirements are completed within agreed timescales.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and compliance requirements. What you'll bring:

City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in an Electrical discipline.
18th Edition qualification.
Testing & Inspection qualification, ideally 2391 or equivalent.
Proven experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
