Job: Electrical Maintenance Engineer \nLocation: Preston\nSalary: £50,000\n\nHolidays: 23.5 days a year (rising to 28.5 over 5 years)\n\nShifts: Monday - Friday Double Days (6-2 / 2/10)\n\nPension: 6% employer 4% employee\n\nIndustry: FMCG\n\nAre you an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a manufacturing company based in Preston? Ideally Engineers will have worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment such as food or FMCG and will play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. \n\nDaily Duties:\n\nPerform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the site\nQuickly diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime\nCollaborate with the engineering team to drive improvements that enhance machine performance and reliability\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards at all times\nAccurately document all maintenance work and ensure records are kept up to date\nProvide support for capital projects, new installations, and equipment upgrades as required \n\nIdeal Candidate:\n\nNVQ Level 3 or equivalent - Ideally apprentice trained\nExperience with electrical & Mechanical fault finding and repair - FMCG/food manufacturing\nFlexible, team-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment \n\nPlease send your updated CV to the advert now
