Electrical Maintenance Engineer\n\nLocation: Liverpool\n Salary: £50,000\n Shifts: 4-on 4-off (2 days, 2 nights, 42 hours per week)\n Sector: FMCG / Food Manufacturing\n\nAbout the Role\n\nA leading UK food manufacturing site is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is a key role in maintaining essential production equipment, delivering both proactive and reactive maintenance, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. \nYou will work within a fast-paced, highly regulated setting where engineering reliability and attention to detail are critical.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform fault diagnosis, repair and preventative maintenance on a range of production machinery.\n\nSupport safe, compliant operations by adhering to Health & Safety, GMP, HACCP and COSHH requirements.\n\nWork with PLCs and automation systems (Mitsubishi experience is desirable).\n\nLiaise with production and other departments to support operational goals.\n\nAccurately log completed work via the Computer Maintenance Management System.\n\nContribute to a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.\n\nRequirements\n\nTime-served Electrical Engineer with relevant qualifications or apprenticeship.\n\nPrevious experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally food or FMCG.\n\nProficiency in electrical fault finding and mechanical maintenance.\n\nFamiliarity with PLC/servo drive systems (preferably Mitsubishi).\n\nGood communication skills, a team-oriented approach, and a flexible attitude.\n\nBasic knowledge of food hygiene standards and site-based safety systems.\n\nBenefits\n\n£50,000 annual salary\n\n4-on 4-off shift pattern (42 hours/week)\n\nGenerous holiday allowance\n\nCompany pension scheme (up to 10% employer contribution)\n\nLife assurance\n\nAccess to early wage release and retail discount schemes\n\nCycle to Work scheme\n\nEmployee referral and recognition programmes\n\nApply Now\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to join a secure, progressive manufacturing site with excellent benefits and long-term development potential.
