\n CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work within a commercial building in Oxford Circus, London. The successful candidate will join an established 4-man engineering team and will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical and general building maintenance.\n
\n
\n The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in electrical building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £48,000, plenty of overtime, further training and excellent opportunities for career progression.\n

• Monday to Friday – 08:00am to 17:00pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities\n
\n
\n

\n
• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the building

\n

• Carry out fault finding and repairs on electrical systems

\n

• Electrical testing and inspection

\n

• Lighting and emergency lighting maintenance

\n

• Small power and socket repairs

\n

• Basic electrical installations and remedial works

\n

• Monitor and maintain electrical plant and equipment

\n

• Respond to electrical breakdowns and reactive maintenance requests

\n

• Monitor the BMS systems

\n

• Carry out basic mechanical and plumbing duties where required

\n

• General building fabric maintenance

\n

• Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors

\n

• Work collaboratively as part of a 4-man engineering team

\n

• Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in line with company and site procedures

\n

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and remedial works

\n

Requirements\n
\n
\n

\n
• Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent (Essential)

\n

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential)

\n

• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates

\n

• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance

\n

• Previous experience working within a commercial FM environment

\n

• Multi-skilled with a good understanding of general building services

\n

• Good communication skills

\n

• Client-facing experience

\n
