You'll collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams, responding to breakdowns, delivering planned maintenance, and driving improvements across the site.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPlant Availability & Reliability\n\nEnsure all plant and equipment are safe, compliant, and ready for production.\nRespond promptly to electrical and machinery breakdowns.\nDeliver weekly planned and preventative maintenance schedules.\nComplete work orders with precision, maintaining high engineering and documentation standards.\nSupport reduced downtime and enhance site performance. \n\nElectrical Maintenance & Fault Finding\n\nMaintain and repair electrical systems throughout the site.\nDiagnose and rectify faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.\nTest electrical systems and components to guarantee safe and reliable operation.\nExecute preventative maintenance on plant and production equipment.\nWork with inverter-controlled systems, including change-outs and setups.\nPerform PLC fault finding and basic programming (Allen Bradley experience ).\nRead, interpret, create, and modify electrical drawings and schematics.\nEnsure compliance with electrical regulations, codes, and best practices.Safety, Standards & Housekeeping\n\nTake ownership of your safety and the safety of others.\nMaintain exemplary housekeeping standards in the workshop and plant areas.\nAdhere to all site safety systems and contribute to a positive safety culture.\nSupport audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.Communication & Teamwork\n\nCommunicate engineering issues, actions taken, and resolutions to the Shift Supervisor and Maintenance Team.\nProduce clear and detailed handover reports for incoming shift engineers.\nParticipate in maintenance and engineering meetings as required.\nWork flexibly and provide support to other departments as business needs evolve.Working Relationships\n\nCollaborate with internal production and quality teams, as well as engineering and maintenance colleagues.\nEngage with external contractors and equipment/component suppliers.Performance Measures\n\nAchieve shift and maintenance objectives.\nContribute to improved plant availability and reduced downtime KPI performance.\nMaintain quality in fault resolution, documentation, and shift communication.Why Join Us?\nThis is a pivotal engineering role within a critical production environment.
