Supplying specialist products into a range of high-performance industries, the company continues to invest heavily in both equipment and engineering talent.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking engineering team where you will play a key role in maintaining and improving complex manufacturing equipment within a fast-paced production facility.\n\nThe company offers long-term career stability, ongoing investment in technology, and genuine opportunities for career progression.\n\nBenefits:\n\n * Competitive pension scheme\n\n * Annual leave entitlement\n\n * Training and development opportunities\n\n * Modern working environment\n\n * Career progression opportunities\n\n * Exposure to advanced engineering technologies\n\nJob Description:\n\nAs an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable performance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of complex manufacturing equipment within a highly technical production environment.\n\nKey responsibilities will include:\n\nCarrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support\n\nDiagnosing electrical and control system faults efficiently\n\nSupporting equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives\n\nAnalysing machine performance data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions\n\nAssisting with equipment upgrades, modifications, and new technology implementation\n\nSupporting maintenance procedures, safety standards, and engineering best practice\n\nWorking closely with production, process engineering, and external contractors\n\nManaging spare parts and supporting cost reduction activities\n\nEnsuring machinery operates safely and efficiently to maximise uptime\n\nSkills & Experience:\n\nThe successful candidate will ideally have:\n\nMinimum 5 years’ engineering experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment\n\nStrong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience\n\nExperience working with automated machinery, PLCs, instrumentation, control systems, pneumatics, or process equipment\n\nExcellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills\n\nAbility to work independently and within a team environment\n\nHNC qualification or above in an engineering discipline\n\nPreferred Industry Background:\n\nCandidates with experience working within the chemical manufacturing industry will be highly desirable.
