New Gig Solutions is actively seeking a Temporary Lab Technician (Electrical Technician) to support our client's Electrical Engineering team in Santa Clara. This is a short-term role (1–2 months) with a growing medical device company, ideal for someone with strong fine motor skills, experience working with small electrical components, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced lab setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in electrical assembly of small and precise components
  • Perform wiring and soldering work on crowded PCBs (printed circuit boards)
  • Support the engineering team at various stages of the assembly process
  • Learn quickly and adapt to diverse electrical components with varying specifications
  • Maintain attention to detail when working with delicate materials and setups

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with electrical assembly, soldering, and wiring
  • Exceptional fine hand skills – must be comfortable handling very small components
  • Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Experience working in a lab or technical environment

Contract Duration:

  • 1 to 2 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs
  • Full-time hours during the contract period

This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in a cutting-edge medical device lab that's rapidly growing and making a difference.
