• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety rules and regulations.
• Adhere to company policy and procedures.
• Under general supervision perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance (preventative maintenance) on electrical and instrument equipment throughout the plant ensuring safe practices and equipment operation. Report/refer defects or repairs as appropriate.
• Perform emergency maintenance on failed equipment to get it back up and running as quick as possible.
• Understand level of detail and expectations required for a specific task.
• Assist with shutdown and start-up of equipment on shutdown projects.
• Identify and relay safety, quality, waste reduction, and downtime reduction improvement opportunities to plant supervision/management.
