Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Student

Wood's Operations team in Canada is currently recruiting an Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Student for the 2024 Summer semester to join our Fredericton, NB team, and support our large and small scale brownfield onshore energy projects.In our recruitment and hiring process at Wood Group Canada Ltd. Ensuring project schedules and client approved budgets are managed and met Liaison with third party contractors and vendors in the procurement of materials and equipment Operate in a multidiscipline environment to complete large scale projects for our clients Provide Engineering support were required within the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls groups Completion of Bill of Materials for the procurement of material and services Population of engineering database deliverables for project Closeouts Adhering to all HSEQ requirements within the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls discipline in accordance with Wood procedures and management systems Originating documentation including but not limited to design drawings, technical specifications, data sheets, supplier document register lists (SDRL’s), and reports Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Engineering Degree Program Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English Ability to interact with Multidiscipline personnel in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Subcontractors and Client representatives on project-related topics Strong safety orientation Team focused attitude Proficient computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook
