A-Line Staffing is now hiring Assembler 3, Instrument in Sparks, MD. The Assembler 3, Instrument would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. Full time / 40+ hrs/wk.

Assembler 3, Instrument Compensation: pay $25.50/hr; benefits after 90 days; 401(k) match after 1 year (eligibility dates)

Assembler 3, Instrument Highlights: contract w/ potential perm based on attendance/performance/business needs; required availability: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday (on-site); overtime as needed

Assembler 3, Instrument Responsibilities

• Perform production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies (electromechanical modules, boards, panels, frames, cables, etc.)
• Follow drawings/diagrams/work instructions to complete wiring, component installation, fitting, and related assembly processes
• Complete device history/documentation as required (serial numbers, tools, etc.)
• Conduct in-process quality checks and support troubleshooting/rework/repair activities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; follow safety, housekeeping, and GMP practices as applicable
• Partner with internal teams as needed (ex: Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning)

Assembler 3, Instrument Requirements: High School Diploma/GED; attendance mandatory first 90 days

• Must have reliable transportation (not near public transit)
• Safety shoes required
• Strong mechanical tool knowledge (ex: torque drivers, gauges, bits, etc.)
• Highly proficient reading/interpreting drawings and measuring dimensions/requirements
• Manufacturing experience required (HS/GED + 3 years manufacturing experience or AA/technical degree + 1 year experience)
• Experience in a regulated environment required
• Basic PC skills and ability to read/write/perform basic arithmetic in English

• Leadership/mentoring experience; ability to help train others
• Continuous improvement / lean manufacturing exposure
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and documentation habits
