Electrical Installation Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing leader in the energy reduction industry, having delivered some of the UK’s largest energy-saving rollouts. We are looking for a new Electrical Installation Engineer to join their growing team.



This is a remote role. You will routinely travel daily and will be away from home for several days at a time. You will be required to attend their Greater Manchester office occasionally throughout the year; however, most communication with the office will be online or over the phone.



The Role



This is an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified, time-served electrician to step into a role at the forefront of the sustainable energy sector. Working initially alongside an experienced VO (Voltage Optimisation) Electrcial Installation Engineer, you’ll receive comprehensive, industry-specific training and manufacturer-led instruction to become a specialist in this rapidly growing field.



Key Responsibilities.



* Install Voltage Optimisation and Power Correction systems at commercial and industrial sites across the UK



* Attend manufacturer and in-house training sessions to upskill in specialist technologies



* Travel extensively, including overnight stays 1–2 nights per week



* Operate independently or as part of a team on client sites



* Collaborate remotely with the head office, with occasional visits to Manchester



What We’re Looking For IN an Electrical Installation Engineer



* Fully qualified electrician with a Level 3 Electrotechnical Apprenticeship (or equivalent)



* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)



* NICEIC Inspection and Testing certification



* Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial or industrial environments



* Full UK driving licence



* Strong initiative, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn



* Based in Greater Manchester (or surrounding areas)



* Must be prepared to travel and stay away from home 1–2 nights per week



* Right to work in the UK (no dependents or student visas)



* VO/Power Correction experience is a bonus – but not required; full training provided
