Electrical Inspector - Commercial Test & Inspection (2391)

Job Description

Industry leading award winning safety specialist who operate across 5 areas, today we're going to focus on our specialist Electrical Safety division made up of PTSG ES, Guardian Electrical, Electrical Compliance and Safety.

They specialise in fixed wire test & inspection (EICR's) of commercial and industrial premises. Whether that's a School, Hospital, Office block, Retail unit or something else no two days are the same

\n

\n

What you'll actually be doing (cutting through the jargon):

\n

\n
• Running full-scale inspections and tests on commercial and industrial fixed wiring and switchgear-and compiling EICRs that actually matter

\n

• Spotting what's not quite up to scratch, logging it, and telling the story of what needs fixing-in clear English, not bureaucrat-speak

\n

• Using testing gear and reporting software like a pro-precision meets efficiency

\n

• Working independently, adapting daily, and keeping your cool-because each site throws its own challenges

\n

• Staying on top of EICR standards (BS 7671, IET wiring regs, City & Guilds credentials) to keep everything above board

\n

\n

What we expect from you:

\n

\n
• A minimum of around three years of similar experience-Test & Inspect, remedial repairs, or compliance-heavy work all count

\n

• The proper qualifications: City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent), NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition certificate-proof you know what you're doing

\n

• A full UK driving licence-van not for decoration, but your mobile HQ

\n

• You're detail-focused, self-starting, and professional-always thinking "what might trip us up tomorrow?"
