Location: Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum

\n

Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm
\n (On-site role)

The Role

\n

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector for our client
\n to support the smooth operation of the Quality function. This
\n role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with aerospace
\n standards, minimizing quality costs, and maximizing customer
\n satisfaction through robust inspection, testing, and quality
\n assurance processes.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

* Ensure quality activities comply with all health, safety, and
\n environmental policies
\n * Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of
\n quality systems and processes
\n * Carry out First Article Inspections (FAI) and compile FAI
\n reports
\n * Read and interpret complex, multi-level electrical drawings and
\n specifications
\n * Perform testing in line with procedures and complete acceptance
\n test reports
\n * Conduct electrical testing including continuity, dielectric,
\n insulation, bonding, fault-finding, and functional testing
\n * Raise and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs)
\n * Liaise with design teams and suppliers to resolve drawing or
\n specification issues
\n * Maintain the Quality Management System in line with
\n certifications and regulatory requirements
\n * Review quality data to identify process improvement
\n opportunities
\n * Ensure ongoing compliance with aerospace regulations and
\n quality standards
\n * Support management with the development and maintenance of
\n effective QA systems
\n * Willingness to work overtime, including evenings and weekends,
\n when required
\n This role may involve additional duties in line with business
\n needs.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

\n

Knowledge:

\n

* Working knowledge of EASA Part 21 and/or Part 145
\n * Understanding of AS9100 Rev D aerospace quality standards
\n * Strong grasp of quality management principles, tools, and
\n techniques
\n Skills & Competencies:

\n

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
\n * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
\n * Confident engaging with regulatory bodies
\n * Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
\n Experience:

\n

* Previous experience in a Quality or Electrical Inspection role
\n * Working knowledge of Airbus and/or Boeing systems and processes
\n * Experience with IFE (In-Flight Entertainment) systems
\n * A CQI-approved or other relevant quality qualification is
\n advantageous
