FM33268\n\nElectrical Engineer - CHP\n\nUp to £50,000 (DOE)\n\nAlecto Recruitment is working with a leading power and energy company who are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support electrical maintenance, commissioning, and system optimisation across sites in the South of England.\n\nKey Responsibilities & Tasks\n\nCarry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair on assets and control systems.\nSupport commissioning, testing, and integration of new plant and facilities into operations.\nDiagnose control system faults, including PLC logic and signal issues, and implement solutions.\nInspect, maintain, and operate LV/HV electrical equipment (subject to competency).\nUpgrade and replace control systems and electrical components where required.\nSupport and develop Operations staff through training, guidance, and supervision.\nEnsure compliance with company procedures, NICEIC standards, and H&S legislation.\nManage electrical projects, including scoping works and supporting project delivery.\nMaintain accurate documentation, reports, and commissioning records.\nParticipate in call-out rota and provide technical support across sites. \n\nSkills & Requirements\n\nStrong experience in electrical maintenance, control systems, and commissioning.\nExperience with CHP, gas engines, and/or solar systems.\nKnowledge of generator control systems (e.g. CAT, MAN, MTU, etc).\nExperience with electrical systems (12V DC - 415V AC, 3-phase).\nProven fault finding and PLC diagnostic skills.\n18th Edition and testing/inspection qualifications (2391 desirable).\nHV AP/SAP (desirable).\nGas Safe (or willingness to obtain).INDW\n\nTo apply for this role please send your CV to (url removed) or call (phone number removed) ext 220 to discuss.\n\nEqually if this role would not be of interest to you but may be suitable friend or colleague, we can offer paid referral fees for successful placements
