Job Summary

The Electrical Foreman supervises and participates in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for Commercial Construction Projects. This role blends technical expertise with leadership, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a crew of electricians and helpers
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Schedule tasks and manage project timelines to avoid delays
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety protocols
• Inspect installations to ensure compliance with regulations
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients
• Train and mentor junior electricians
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license
• Proven experience in electrical installation and supervision
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
• Deep understanding of electrical codes and safety standards
• Familiarity with budgeting and resource allocation

Work Environment

• Construction sites, industrial facilities, or commercial buildings
• May involve outdoor work and exposure to varying weather conditions
• Requires physical stamina and attention to detail
