Electrical Testing / Field Technician – Direct Hire

Location Options: Portland, OR • Baton Rouge, LA • Nashville, TN • Atlanta, GA • Des Moines or Cedar Rapids, IA • Charlotte, NC • Greenville, SC • Houston, TX - Candidates must be located within 30–50 miles of one of the listed locations.

We’re hiring Electrical Testing Technicians / Field Technicians with experience in power distribution systems (up to 15kV) or U.S. Military veterans (Navy Electrician's Mate or Army Prime Power).

What You’ll Do:

• Perform testing, maintenance & troubleshooting of high-voltage switchgear and systems.
• Work in the field, including weekends, extended hours, and travel away from home for multiple weeks.
• Lead and document testing projects, ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Who Should Apply:

· 3–5+ years of experience in high-voltage electrical or power distribution OR 5+ years of U.S. Navy (EM) / Army Prime Power (MOS 12P) with electrical background – we offer training programs for veterans

· Comfortable with 50%+ travel, field work, weekend and on-call support

· Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA/NFPA, and safety procedures

· NETA Certified is a plus – or must be willing to pursue NETA certification after hire

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. of test equipment
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours (including weekends)
