Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and load flow studies.
  • Prepare reports for power quality and system coordination.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of test reports.
  • Provide on-site engineering support for testing, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
  • Operate and understand both basic and advanced test equipment.
  • Prepare and conduct training sessions for testing technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and employment policies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Completion of the Fundamentals in Engineering exam (FE Exam) or on track to complete.
  • 2-3 years of experience in power systems engineering.
  • NETA Level 2 certification and the ability to obtain NETA Level 3 within 2-3 years.
  • Familiarity with NETA, NFPA, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
  • Experience with power systems modelling and analysis software, preferably SKM.
  • Eligibility for Professional Engineer registration in PA, MD, DE, NJ.
  • Strong analytical skills, mechanical aptitude, and good communication abilities.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work 40 hours/week in 8-to-10-hour shifts.
  • Capability to lift weights up to 75 lbs. and perform tasks requiring physical endurance.
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions and using personal protective equipment.
