ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR – DIRECT HIRE
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Salary: $75,000/year
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for an Electrical Estimator to join a growing lightning protection company. This is a direct-hire opportunity for an estimator with commercial construction experience who can review construction drawings, perform accurate takeoffs, and develop competitive proposals for lightning protection and grounding projects.

ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review commercial construction plans, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for lightning protection and grounding systems.

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from construction drawings.

• Analyze labor, material, and project requirements to develop competitive pricing.

• Clearly communicate project scope, pricing, exclusions, and clarifications to customers.

• Work closely with project managers and internal teams throughout the estimating and project handoff process.

• Manage multiple estimates, bid deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.

• Maintain organized and accurate estimating documentation, proposals, and project records.

• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, contractors, and internal teams.

ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of commercial construction estimating experience.

• Ability to read and interpret commercial construction plans, drawings, and specifications.

• Experience performing quantity takeoffs from construction drawings.

• Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and mathematical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building abilities.

• Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.

• Experience with QuickBooks .

• Electrical or lightning protection estimating experience strongly .

• Construction Management degree .

• Ability to pass a background check and drug and alcohol screening.

COMPENSATION

$75,000/year
