Job Description

Title: Electrical Estimator - Mid and Senior level needed

Location: Jackson, TN is 1st choice (could work from Atlanta or Columbus)

Duration: 12 months contract to hire

Pay: $50 - $65 for mid-level │ $70 - $80 for senior level

Overtime: 1.5x

Schedule: 40+ hours a week

Start date: ASAP

About the Role – Estimator:

The Estimator plays a key role in pre-project planning by analyzing project documents, developing cost estimates, and supporting successful project execution from initial bid through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project documents and perform quantity takeoffs
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing breakdowns
• Develop and maintain material lists and project proposals
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Assist in developing project budgets and preliminary schedules
• Support project teams throughout the bidding and award process
• Track project costs compared to estimates and identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in construction, estimating, or a related field
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills
• Effective communication and time management abilities
• Proficiency with estimating tools, spreadsheet software, and document interpretation
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• Valid driver’s license
