Electrical Estimator



Location: Halifax-Hybrid working Available after probation period



My client is a leading provider of electrical solutions for residential and industrial projects, including power stations and factories. Whether it’s electrical testing and commissioning, control panel systems, or retrofitting industrial motors and gearboxes, my client is the specialist you can rely on for all your electromechanical requirements.



Responsibilities



As they embark on an exciting scale-up journey, my client is seeking a dedicated Electrical Estimator to join their Project Management team. This role offers the opportunity to work on projects valued up to £2 million across the residential sector, contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.



The Opportunity



As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in securing high-value commercial and industrial installation and service contracts, ranging from £10K to £2M. You will collaborate closely with the Directors, Project Managers, and Business Development Managers, helping to drive the success of our projects and contribute to our continued growth.



Experiences Required



* Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator



* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods.



* Excellent understanding of construction processes and project management principles.



* Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills Experienced in the development and application of project processes/controls including programmes, reporting, risk & issues management, change control etc.



* A professional qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field ().



* Open to speaking with Junior Estimators who are looking to step into a new role
