Are you an Electrical Estimator with experience of using Trimble?\n\nWe're pleased to share details of this excellent opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join a busy and growing business, based near Cambridge.\n\nIf you're used to working on high value projects and several concurrent tenders, always ensuring deadlines are met, along with experience of site installation and have enough electrical knowledge to assess working times and materials to complete all types of project tenders - we'd love to hear from you!\n\nIn this varied role, you'll be doing:\n\nIdentifying new opportunities to grow the business and generating new tender enquiries\nMaintain the customer and sub-contractor database\nReview initial enquiry documentation\nProvide estimation documents and prepare estimate filing both electronically and in paper form\nSend out, track and receive specialist subcontract package enquiries\nProduction of detailed quotations considering material and labour resource\nNegotiate costs, discount structures and purchasing quotations with suppliers & sub-contractors prior to tender stage\nRecording all new enquiries in the database\nCustomer communication throughout the tender process\nSupervising one member of the team\nCarry out Value Engineering on project tenders\nCustomer visitsYou must have electrical estimating experience along with experience using Trimble. In addition, business development/client experience would be ideal.\n\nYou'll be confident using your initiative and working in an organised and efficient way, along with good communication and negotiation skills.
