Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates based on drawings, specs, and site visits
• Collaborate with engineering and preconstruction teams to develop competitive bids
• Assess scope changes and offer value-engineering alternatives
• Ensure estimates meet code compliance, client needs, and timeline constraints
• Maintain documentation and assist with bid strategy development

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience estimating electrical systems in hospitals or data centers
• Knowledge of NEC, local codes, and critical infrastructure requirements
• Proficiency with digital takeoff and estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam)
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
