Position Summary
CME is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering to support engineering projects and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. This role provides the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to real-world projects, and develop practical technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving for electrical and electronic issues
- Participate in engineering projects, including research, analysis, and documentation
- Help prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals
- Perform general engineering support tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and electronic systems
- Hands-on lab, academic project, or experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and ability to work in a team environment

Compensation & Schedule:
- Hourly rate based on academic year:
- Freshman: $16.00/hour
- Sophomore: $17.00/hour
- Junior: $18.00/hour
- Senior: $19.00/hour
- Full-time summer (10–12 weeks, ~40 hours/week)
- Opportunity for future full-time employment based on performance
Eligibility Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in a relevant field
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Other Requirements:
- CME positions require access to controlled goods under ITAR/EAR regulations; applicants must be "U.S. Persons" as defined by these regulations.
- Compliance with U.S. federal law requires verification of and work eligibility; CME cannot employ individuals who do not meet these criteria, including those on student or temporary work visas.
- Completion of Predictive Index Assessments.
