Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Trenton, SC. This role focuses on supporting plant operations through electrical troubleshooting, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic and hands-on experience in industrial automation and control systems.
You will work on electrical problems of moderate scope, contribute to engineering projects, and support the design, development, and testing of electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
Electrical Engineer Compensation
- The pay for this position is $76,000/yr
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities
· Troubleshoot, program, and maintain PLC systems and electrical controls
· Support plant automation and continuous improvement initiatives
· Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment and systems
· Work with Allen Bradley PLCs, remote I/O, HMIs, and Rockwell software
· Support machine control systems including PLCs and servo systems
· Assist with medium voltage systems and electrical infrastructure
· Manage capital and expense budgets to meet plant objectives
· Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and maintenance personnel
· Contribute to industrial network layout and Ethernet communication systems

Required Technical Skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- 2+ years of experience in industrial automation or manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Rockwell software
- Strong troubleshooting and programming skills for PLC systems
- Experience with industrial Ethernet communication and network layouts
- Ability to manage budgets and support plant-level objectives
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
Qualifications
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Knowledge of production and maintenance processes
- Experience managing contractors and maintenance technicians
- Ability to design and oversee electrical control systems
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Experience with medium voltage systems and servo controls
