ERSG are partnering with a leading global consultancy to find an Electrical Engineer ready to step into a more commercial, strategic role within the energy and infrastructure sector.\n\nThis is a unique opportunity to take your technical expertise and apply it in a high-impact advisory environment, working with investors, lenders, and asset owners to shape major infrastructure and energy transactions.\n\nIf you're looking to move away from pure design and into a role where your analysis directly influences investment decisions, this is the perfect next step.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n\nSupporting technical due diligence on major energy and infrastructure transactions\nAssessing high-voltage electrical systems (33kV-440kV) across a variety of assets\nIdentifying and communicating technical and commercial risks ("red flag" analysis)\nReviewing designs, asset condition, and regulatory compliance\nProducing clear, commercially focused reports for investors and stakeholders\nEngaging directly with clients, presenting insights in a concise and impactful wayThis is where engineering meets finance, strategy, and real-world decision-making.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nDegree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (Master's or MBA advantageous)\nStrong experience with HV electrical systems\nExposure to energy or infrastructure projects (renewables, utilities, grid, etc.)\nAbility to translate complex technical detail into commercial insightWhy This Role Stands Out\n\nWork on high-profile, global transactions across energy and infrastructure\nGain exposure to the investment side of engineering projects\nDevelop a highly sought-after skillset combining technical and commercial expertise\nBe part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary advisory team\nClear pathway for career progression within a rapidly growing space \n\nIdeal Background (Not Essential)\n\nTechnical advisory, consulting, or due diligence experience\nFamiliarity with transaction environments (M&A, financing, asset sales)\nKnowledge of renewable energy or regulated utility networks \n\nWhy Apply Through ERSG?\n\nAt ERSG, we specialise in connecting top engineering talent with opportunities that offer real career progression and variety.
