We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to support the development, integration, characterization, and troubleshooting of subsystem-level electrical test systems within the medical device industry. This is a highly technical, execution-focused role with a strong emphasis on practical hardware engineering and large-scale instrumentation.
The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of recent experience designing and building electronics and semi-automated test systems, integrating hardware and software, and resolving complex electrical issues. Candidates should be comfortable working independently on fixture design and system integration activities
Key Requirements
- Test system development
- Subsystem-level electrical integration and characterization
- Designing and building electronics and semi-automated test system
- Strong background in electrical design and test fixture development, ideally within the medical device industry
- Experience with large-scale instrumentation, including independent fixture design and complete system integration
- Analog and digital circuit design and debugging
- Troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other laboratory tool
- Experience supporting the full product lifecycle from concept and build through bring-up and sustaining supported
Responsibilities
- Provide electrical engineering support for medical equipment sustenance activities.
- Investigate field issues using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and 8D methodologies and implement CAPA actions.
- Drive engineering changes through ECR/ECO processes and support verification and validation activities.
- Maintain schematics, BOMs, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IEC 60601 and related standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Service teams.
- Support reliability initiatives, including FMEA, failure analysis, and design reviews.
- Provide technical support for PCBAs, assemblies, and electrical test systems.
- Manage component obsolescence and product lifecycle updates.
