Job Description
Electrical Maintenance Engineer \nReading\n £44,000 - £46,000\n \n An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to join a well-established, privately owned building services provider at a large business park in Reading.\n \n This is a static, Monday to Friday role, working as part of a engineering team, responsible for maintaining landlord plant across a commercial estate. While the role is electrically biased, the successful engineer will also carry out basic mechanical maintenance as part of a multi-skilled team.\n \n The Role:\n \nPlanned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance on landlord services \nReactive electrical fault finding and repairs \nCarrying out basic mechanical maintenance on plant such as AHUs, FCUs, pumps and valves \nWorking closely with other engineers and site management to ensure smooth site operation \nEnsuring all works are completed in line with health & safety and statutory compliance The Ideal Candidate:\n \nQualified Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) \n18th Edition desirable \nPrevious experience in a commercial building services environment \nComfortable undertaking basic mechanical tasks alongside electrical duties \nTeam player with good communication skills What's on Offer:\n \n£44,000 - £46,000 salary \nMonday to Friday, 8am-5pm \n25 days holiday + bank holidays \nPension package \nOngoing training and development \nClear opportunities for progression \nSupportive, professional working environment within a privately owned business This role would suit an electrically biased engineer who enjoys a varied position, working on a well-run site with long-term stability and progression opportunities
