An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to join a well-established, privately owned building services provider at a large business park in Reading.
This is a static, Monday to Friday role, working as part of a engineering team, responsible for maintaining landlord plant across a commercial estate. While the role is electrically biased, the successful engineer will also carry out basic mechanical maintenance as part of a multi-skilled team.
The Role:
Planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance on landlord services
Reactive electrical fault finding and repairs
Carrying out basic mechanical maintenance on plant such as AHUs, FCUs, pumps and valves
Working closely with other engineers and site management to ensure smooth site operation
Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety and statutory compliance The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
18th Edition desirable
Previous experience in a commercial building services environment
Comfortable undertaking basic mechanical tasks alongside electrical duties
Team player with good communication skills What's on Offer:
